Cinema & Film Studies

Movies and films have come a long way since the days of silent monochrome flicks: The cinema scene today boasts of dramatic special effects and top-class animation.

In this modernised age, we take a look back at the century old art form that has entertained the masses and examine if there is more to a movie than just its entertainment value and munching on popcorn.

We explore, in Cinema & Film Studies, what makes us scream, laugh and cry, and what keeps us coming back for more.
